Harlington Village Pre-school & Wrap Around Care is run by a committed and dedicated team of staff and a voluntary, parent-led committee. We pride ourselves in our ‘open-door’ policy and aim to work closely with parents to ensure the individual needs of every child are met.

I have worked with Early years children for the past 15 years, in a variety of different settings. I love working with this age group, and believe young children learn through play and learning form others, in an environment that instils wonder and engages their natural curiosity.
I started as a nursery practitioner and have worked my way up to a room leader, and now a Deputy Manager, gaining my BA Hons Degree in Early Childhood Education on the way, after completing my L3 and Foundation Degree in Early years
I have 2 daughters and during my home time I enjoy looking after our horses with my daughters, spending time with family and friends, walking round the countryside with our dog, reading, and watching films.

I am from Hungary, and have been living in the UK for over two decades.
I always wanted to be an educator. Working with children is the most rewarding profession; watching them develop & grow with my contribution makes me feel honoured. I am very musical; I play instruments too, and I love using singing & music in my teaching.
I spend a great amount of time with my big family of 6 younger siblings, parents & a niece.
I enjoy cooking, love travelling (visited over 30 countries and counting), appreciate the nature; and I collect perfumes.
My favourite quote is: “Music is the universal language of mankind” by Zoltan Kodaly

I have worked with children for over 10 years including running the local playgroup and nannying to lovely twins who live locally. I would like to carry on my studies in Early Years and further my child development knowledge. I am also taking part in F.A training to be a coach for the local football team, attached to the school. I am passionate and enthusiastic and I love to dress up and entertain children and families. I have two children myself and we love swimming, being outdoors and snuggling up to a good movie at the end of the day.

I have always loved working with children. I graduated from University back in 2008 with a Bachelors degree in Primary Education and worked as a teacher teaching Reception and Year 1 in a private school in Leagrave. I took a break from teaching for several years to start a family of my own and now have 3 beautiful daughters, the youngest of which is soon to start full time school. More recently, I have been running the local playgroup.
During my free time, I enjoy going to concerts and the theatre. I am part of Harlington Performs and can be seen treading the boards each Panto season. I love animals and have 4 cats, a rabbit and 2 dwarf hamsters.

My family and I have lived in Harlington for 11 years. I have 3 children of my own, all of whom have attended the Pre-School and Lower School. I joined the WAC team in April 2022. I throughly enjoy taking care of the children at the end of their school day.
In my spare time I like long walks with my dog and spending as much time as possible with my family and friends.
Anna
Chair
I was first involved in Preschool & WAC as a committee member in 2022 and became Chair in 2024. I find volunteering really rewarding and it is heart warming to be involved in our young one’s development.
My children have attended the Preschool, and we now use WAC, which we find invaluable.
My career has always been based around data and I currently lead the Data Privacy function for an international bank in London.
Derek
Treasurer
I have lived in Harlington for ten years and joined the Committee as Treasurer in 2024.
My eldest daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Pre school and looks forward to attending the WAC occasionally. My youngest daughter is currently in the Pre school and loves every minute.
We’re very lucky to have such a great Pre school in our village and its a privilege to be able to support the team.
I’m an accountant and I currently work for a real estate Fund Manager.
Jessica
Secretary
I grew up in Harlington and moved back to raise my family here in 2021. I actually attended HVPS myself a long time ago!
I joined the committee when my eldest son was at pre school and continue to use pre school and WAC - my daughter is currently an Acorn and both my sons are at the Lower School.
I really enjoy being part of the committee and supporting our local children and community. I work locally providing fitness classes for mums and mums-to-be and enjoy spending time with my dogs, family and friends, particularly at our holiday home in West Wales.
