Admissions

Harlington Village Pre-school is open to every family in the community. Your child may start at Harlington Village Pre-school in their two years prior to starting Lower School. From September 2024, we are accepting children born between 01/09/2020 - 31/08/2022.

Children on our admissions list who are due to start Pre School the following academic year will be e-mailed a session request form in April before the September of the new academic year. Parents/Carers will be notified of their sessions in June.


If you wish your child to be added to our admissions list, please email your contact details and your child’s details (d.o.b, full name) to: staff@harlingtonvillagepreschool.org.uk  Children can be added onto our admissions list from any age.

Funding

We accept children who receive:

·        2 year old funding (working Parents and government funded;

·        15 Hours (3-4 year old funding);

·        30 hours (3-4 year old funding);

 

We will send you a Nursery Education Funding (NEF) form prior to the start of the term when your child becomes eligible for funding. These are completed by the Parent/Carer and returned to ourselves who will claim on your behalf via the Central Beds portal.


Children can also pay for sessions if they are not yet in receipt of funding or require hours beyond their funded hours.

Your child may be eligible for 30 hours funding from the term after they turn 3. If you think your child may be eligible, you will need to apply direct at the following link   30 hour funding

Tax free Childcare

Parents can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of their children to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year).

If you get Tax-Free Childcare, you’ll set up an online childcare account for your child. For every £8 you pay into this account, the government will pay in £2 to use to pay your provider.
